This week we have been really focusing on our writing for the Astlle testing dad and this is what we have been practice writing about !

Global intro

All around the world there are many different kinds of communities.from small farming

,isolated tribal , city community, and communities within communities.

Intro to ur topic

All communities need the many things to make that community special.such as wifi recreational activities and food.

WIFI

Wifi allows devices to communicate and be able to reach websites on the internet.

Wifi will allow all devices to reach connection to the internet.And the internet can be safely reached around houses, supermarkets ,pool and shops.

Wifi is also important to the community as schools have wifi for the school's connection to school work .At home it is needed to entertain and keep in touch with friends and family.

It is also important as if u go out and u need to contact someone urgently or have to get in touch with someone if ur out and that

Recreation and pastimes

Recreational  activities are those things that people do for enjoyment.for example the scooter park, aquatic center,hunting , sport and may others…..

It's good to be able to do these things as to be fit and to get outside and not trapped inside.for u to be outside your brain gets the fresh air which is great but also gathering new ideas and it's also great that those kids at home don't be on there electronics all day which can ruin their eyesight so that's also another wonderful excuse for getting outside.friendships are a great way to get outside or just hang with ur family but hanging with ur friend like going to the movies is a good social entertainment life as well.

Food

All communities should have more than just a fish and chip shop there are many varieties of restaurants and cafes that u can enjoy and have a nice meal.

Cafes are very nice for catching up with friends and family or just a casual cake or pie  then off to work in the morning.they can also be pretty nice to go to after a hot sweaty run.restaurants are very nice to go for birthdays or a casual dinner with friends . there are many types of restaurants but not every little town has them all.Everyone loves takeaways if ur in a rush or just can't be bothered to make dinner that night after a long day of work well most of the time.But having all these varieties is very good for ur community .

Conclusion

With all of these things it make one little change to your community which be be helpful in ur lifetime of living in that small town of urs.

what have I learnt this week !!

This week I have been focusing on my math levels going up..
I have really been focusing on length conversions..with really was confusing me but i got there and i got 80 % So i thought that was pretty proud of myself.

Weekly reflection

This week Mr wood has taught  some people to constructing a simple shape with perspectives.I have tried many times to get and angles right and I finally have got it.
This is a drawing that i drew at home with 16 squares and it was extremely challenging !!!
When I started this drawing i keeped on getting the lines for the bottom part of the cuboid rong and I would connect them to the rong point.

This week we have been focusing  on our new topic love your rubbish and we have been learning all about Kate valley in Canterbury and other dumps around Canterbury but mostly Kate valley it has very interesting finding out many things I did know about.
We also did an audio conference with Kate valley and we asked five questions. In the audio conference there where other schools involved and each school asked 5 questions.

Also this week we have been focusing on our new art ideas witch are doing protest art and making our own logo ..

Also we have been doing our random math reading and not so much writing.

This term we have made a really good effort to  try and do heaps of different things and I think we did it.

This term we have been reading this awesome book called the (knife of never letting go) and it is so good and the dog sparkle talks and there is violence and lots of swearing it is really cool . and about this town called Prentice town and and this boy called Todd and Todd leaves town and meats a girl with he hasn't even seen a girl before and they run away and go through horror with Prentice town trying to find Todd and they find a town and they stay there then Prentice town finds them and they keep on running  with Spackle with a cut off ear and they keep on running and Aron one of the Prentice towns finds Todd and the girl and and Aron takes the girl and Todd is left .

 the book we will hopefully finish it next term.

PS:you should read it. 

You must be over at less 12 and over just because of the type of book it is !! 

In Math 

It has been hard work this term i am not the best with math but learnt heaps of stuff this term I have learnt 

algebra,expand notation , rotational symmetry witch was very hard for me too do .


Writing
this term i have wrote my own stories and Mr wood usually gives us at less three minutes to write a story and he all so gives us a topic to write about it

Me and earl and the dying girl

This book is a movie and book

And this is how it goes Greg gains is  a senior citizen at Benson high school.

A social misfit , he navigates high school life bye gaining everyone's knowledge but staying clear of any particular group .

His only friend is earl Jackson,though Greg will  only  (casually) 

Agree with earl that they are friends.

Greg and Earl are both are fellow student from a poor and broken family who have been friends since their childhood.

One day Greg's mother comes out and  tells him that a friend from his childhood called Rachel is diagnosed with cancer called

Greg's mother want Greg to bring that relationship back with Rachel to make her feel better.although Greg has only been friends with Rachel to try and get closer to her more  of a attractive friend.

Madison hunter ,he relies that he will only Madison Hartline, he realizes that he cannot argue with his mother and calls her. This leads to an awkward conversation between the two. Greg is ready to give up, but his mother forces him to meet up with Rachel.

Today on kiwi kids news reflection we will be talking about>
India putting lions on trial for murder!!

What's up with that your thinking but hay this is what happend.
The police in India have gathered up 18 male loins wanted for murder of the three in Gujarat , India 

If one of guilty they will be sent to life in prison or at less: a zoo.
Now with all 18 lions with paws printed and faces tested.

when they find out who is guilty,the lion will be sent to a zoo and will stay their till its day of death.

All of the 18 lions are all Asiatic lions, 
also the average weight of theses mammals are usually around 200 or 250 kg so they would squash you!!
